Seascapes of Maine

Mini Class - Sketching & Painting Seascapes inspired by Maine

Bringing Maine to your studio. Maine a place of nostalgia, the outdoors, and a love for the sea. There is so much to inspire from this beautiful place. Through our layover-style mini classes, we will focus on a specific subject matter or medium while combining our love of art and adventure. These classes are intended to be short enough to be done on your “layover” or long lunch break (2-2.5 hours).

Through this class, we will focus on seascapes of Maine in acrylic paints. We will study the life of the sea, the marshes where the sea weaves in and out of the land, the numerous islands, and the incredible cliffside views.

Art Supplies

I always include all the supplies that I use in our class for reference in case there is a new material you want to add to your studio. However, I want you to use the materials you have on hand and enjoy the most. I always recommend watching the lessons first and then deciding if you want to add a new medium into your practice. If you have questions about alternative mediums, feel free to reach out to me at kristykensinger@gmail.com.
