Our class, The Elements is part of a larger scale collaborative project through Willowing Arts. Below is some information from Tam the owner of Willowing Arts on the course and how a percentage of each sale gives back to an organization called TreeSisters. I was passionate about joining this project for these reasons. Learn more about the class below.
Welcome to the Art for Earth Package Sale! My name is Tam, I’m an artist, online art teacher and author and, like many, I’ve been pretty worried about climate change for the last couple of years. Since the IPCC report came out in 2018, climate change has become one of the world’s most important global issues. I’ve been wondering how I can help and make difference to this problem and that’s how this Art for Earth project was born.🌳
I’m not great at chaining myself to bridges or running green political parties, but I do have a fairly amazing audience online and a wonderful network of amazing art friends. So I thought we, as artists, could band together and run a big art project that could create awareness of climate issues and raise some funds for our earth too!
So, I approached many of my art friends and collected together some of the most popular and celebrated mixed media artists in our wonderful art community and asked them to contribute some of their art products to this package!
And boy, did we prepare a beautiful package for you! We have over 85+ art products worth over £2900+ GBP (approx $4000 USD) and guess what? It’s for sale for ONLY £85 GBP (approx $112 USD)! That is a tiny fraction of the value price!
